There is more to a feeling than its name.

Explore 128 emotions across eight families. Find definitions, everyday examples, body sensations, and nearby feelings.

Search by a word or a sensation. Begin with the emotion wheel when you know the shape of a feeling before its name.

Explore by name, emotion family, or body sensation.

Make room for the whole thought.

Write a little or a lot. Choose multiple feeling tags and add intensity when it helps. Your writing saves as a draft while you go.

Optional on-device AI can suggest tags and prompts on supported devices with Apple Intelligence available. It never decides how you feel. Core journaling works without it.

A little practice. A richer vocabulary.

Flashcards and quizzes help you get to know nearby feelings. There is no need to get your own emotions "right".

A quick check-in can be just a feeling and an optional note. Reflection reminders, widgets, Shortcuts, and a Control Center control make it easier to pause when the moment is right.

Patterns, not scores.

Notice which emotion families appear in your reflections, how pleasantness varies, and when feelings tend to show up.

Insights are invitations to reflect, not diagnoses or judgments. Light and dark appearances make room for different moments.
